counselling

Everyone experiences times when they feel anxious, sad, or depressed. If your problems are getting on top of you, it can help to talk to someone who has the time to listen. Counselling can help you to explore your feelings and look at the reasons why you are feeling this way and aims to help you find your own solutions, without making moral judgements or pushing you in a particular direction.
Available Mon to Fri, 9-30am - 5pm, plus Tuesday evenings 5pm - 8pm Located at 14-16 Faulkner Road, B92 8SY Application form/appointment necessary
A variety of counselling styles are used according to the issues being dealt with and where possible we can match any particular requests you may have about your counsellor eg preferring to speak to a female. Counselling is available to anyone (age 18+) who lives in the borough of Solihull. Appointments take place at the Oasis office between 9-30am and 5-00pm Monday to Friday, with some other sessions available in the evenings for those unable to attend daytime appointments.
If there is a reason why you cannot come to the office, where possible we will try to make alternative arrangements. If our counsellors are, for any reason unable to help, we will try to put you in touch with someone who can. If you would like to use our counselling service we can post or email you an application form or alternatively you can use our online form here. There is also another counselling service available in Solihull providing specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This service is provided by the NHS Talking Therapies service.
